1294420 2012-09-18 03:51:00 I was right. There was something wrong:

1294421 2012-09-18 04:08:00 I though it a bit odd too, either media reporting incorrectly or the guy must have been in shock and not thinking straight. Either way a terrible tragedy. :(

I don't see anything wrong with what I said earlier..

Does anyone else remember seeing a red Hilux wellside rather than a Surf in earlier photos, or am I remembering things wrong.

1294423 2012-09-18 06:40:00 Way I look at is when I was learning to fly and the instructor said if the engine fails do something, anything even if its the wrong thing. But do not just sit there and do nothing.

Thank god your instructor was not my pilot to Auck the other day.

1294425 2012-09-18 11:08:00 So, this brain tumor wasn't affecting him, then all of a sudden it caused a crash? Reeks of 'lets find an excuse and watch the sympathy flow' to me. It it wasn't major affecting him enough to be noticed prior, it wasn't affecting him enough to cause a crash.
You have a lot to learn there Nick and don't bother thinking of taking up the medical profession for a living.

Fortunately nothing has gone wrong, allowing him to do the wrong thing.

1294428 2012-09-18 20:13:00 Doing anything/something rather than nothing was what led to the crash of the AirBus into the South Atlantic with the loss of all lives.

A younger in-experienced pilot kept pulling back on the joystick continuously and the other experienced pilot never realized what the younger pilot was doing, the electronics of the plane did not average out the conflicting inputs correctly while the pitot tubes were iced over.

After quite a long time 20 mins or so they more or less stalled into the water having a conversation wondering how it could be happening that they kept losing height.
