1294744 2012-08-15 05:09:00 Doom, what a great game, I can remember playing the original Doom on a flatmates DX2 66 - just before he upgraded to a DX4 100. woohoo. Doom along with Wolfenstein, Heritic and Quake were brillient. I bought the latest Wolfenstein, still play it even so often. Iantech (16386)
1294745 2012-08-15 08:33:00 Now and then I play games on Dosbox :p
Just yesterday tried to play Blade Runner by Westwood, wouldn't play even under XP mode - it runs in Windows not Dos.

In those days the DX2-66 was expensive, some peers of mine bought a DLC-40 :D
Games don't have that much appeal now, it's more action and graphics packed. I like those that you had to walk around and explore, plus the games before had fat manuals.

1294748 2012-08-15 09:25:00 Was told our AMD Duron was actually a Sempron but it was 2003.

So 2002 for us it was a AMD K6 200Mhz, 32MB, 1.2GB, Soundblaster 16 Pnp ISA, Dynalink 56k PCI, with a Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 video card 4MB (PCI). HP Laserjet 6L. Win95/Office 2000. The box and PSU was from our 386 :p
