1319594 2012-12-21 20:01:00 Merry Christmas everyone

I was going to buy a Samsung 830 128GB but I thought it would be to small and they seem to replaced by the 840 series.
I've got about $280 to spend so hopefully I can get a 250GB+ one.
I'm thinking one of these at the moment. What do you guys recommend?
Thanks.

Very. Better than ascent in my opinion.

1319602 2012-12-23 21:48:00 Playtech are fine. I would go Intel for the SSD. wratterus (105)
1319603 2012-12-23 22:51:00 I would go with the brand that is currently producing the fastest SSD I can afford. I believe that is currently OCZ's Vertex 4. The Samsung 840 *might* be faster (I can't remember). I wouldn't recommend a brand instead a specific SSD (e.g. OCZ has made some shocking SSD's in the past but I don't have a problem with any of their newer stuff). icow (15313)
