94423 2002-10-30 01:01:00 Mums homeschooling sister at home..and wants to know of any maths games downloadable..demos..and trial versions so she can try them out before actually buying them for her to use as part of her education..coz she has before brought some mathematics game just for the kids to use, but they werent exactly what the box said they would be...so she doesnt want to do that again and find they wont help..
sister is lacking skills in addition, subscration, mainly...and just wants the basics in division and multiplication, but basically focusing more on addition and subscration for the mean time..but if the pprogram/software can proivide all 4..thats gonna be great :d

hope someone can help, coz downloads.com has nothing, nor does kazaa...since when did someone say it had everything coz it doesnt...

94424 2002-10-30 01:33:00 I'm not too sure Chris, but you could try contacting somewhere like www.wheelers.co.nz Bookshop[/url] - my mum is a private tutor for kids with learning difficulties, and she gets loads of supplies from there, and they may have some educational software as well.

94425 2002-10-30 01:46:00 I think Apogee do Maths Rescue and Word Rescue... Ive got a few... Was homeschooled myself. I could put you in touch with several people who could easily help out with resources, especially computer resources.

For now, I'll see if I can find the trial of the games I mentioned.

Back soon

94429 2002-10-30 06:18:00 Try having a browse through these old well established sites:

www.winsite.com

www.simtel.net

I think your Mum will find plenty of choice, some is freeware, some is shareware.

Cheers.
