| 94255 | 2002-10-29 09:16:00 | I am thinking to buy a scanner with adapter for slides or negative, which I want to scan and print out to postcard size or larger than that. So, I wonder HP5370c or canon D1250u2f will be good enough to handle it or I should go for Hp5470c or Canon D2400uf. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you (_)(_) |

| 94257 | 2002-10-29 09:30:00 | I personally havent had any problem with hp scanners but I would probably go with the cannon as hp scanners are very expensive. One thing to look out for is whether they use LED to illuminate the scanned object or whether they use a fluro lamp, fluro lamps provide better quality but wear out quicker (especially if theyre left on 24/7), however led are pretty much indestructible but do provide quite so good quality. Hope this helps. Cheers Liam |

| 94259 | 2002-10-29 10:04:00 | if u need a 35mm negative scanner. canon u need to use fluoro... LED cannot be used for 35mm's. depend how pro u are?? a 35mm scanner like by Canon or Nikon Coolscan will always produce the best results but comes at a price. Every Nikon has been rated as excellent by various forums. |
