| 94210 | 2002-10-29 08:10:00 | I have been trying to see the movies that come on the PCW CD ROM. I have 32 Meg rom NVIDIA card with QuickTime 6. All that I get is very jumpy video with large bit left out or the screen halts for ages. The sound runs OK Any ideas?? |

| 94211 | 2002-10-29 08:16:00 | CPMcG, Try copying the movie ( the .mov ) file from the cd to your harddrive and then viewing it from there. When finished you could delete it. Cheers, Babe. |

| 94213 | 2002-10-29 08:33:00 | CPMcG, Your video drivers are up-to-date, and if relevant DirectX? Your harddrive defragged and scandisced?. I didn't ask what OS you run how much RAM you have etc? What other programs are running concurrenly? etc... Cheers, Babe. |

| 94214 | 2002-10-29 08:47:00 | this happens when u have too much programs using too much of the system's resources. type in "msconfig" in the "run" box and and see "programs" tab and deselect wot u want and then click on processes and endtask of all other uneccesary programs that are running at the moment. This should free up some ram + system resources to enable better viewing. Also wot processor chip do u have? the lower end ones around 400mhz and lower tend to struggle with video, this is also caused by the videocard that can't handle awesome quality graphics. cheers, v.K |
