2002-10-30 10:51:00 | Dianne, This is because this is a dummy page, and does not actually connect with anything as such, it just is there to test the therie of how it might work and look. .Clueless

2002-10-30 11:02:00 | However... If you typed out a message in Sals dummy page, and then copied it to the real PressF1 reply form (where the form actually posts to something that exsists somewhere) then you would find that the emoticon script works fine (apart from mischief) A bit painful i know, but we are only testing a standalone proposed component afterall. .Clueless

2002-10-30 11:10:00 | yep, nothing works there, i mean, if i had enough time, i could 'fake' it for at least another few pages, but i only had enough time to chuck that page together. ive fixed a couple of things, but i still want to know how to fix that javascript prob, grtz sal. tga

2002-10-31 02:57:00 | Try using "\\" for "\" and "\;" for ";". Or the 0xnn syntax for the hex ASCII code. | Graham L (2) | |
2002-10-31 03:14:00 | Works fine at 640x480, just have to scroll right a little bit to get them all in, but dont forget that they've got the ads over the right too, so scrolling is kinda always gonna be there! | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2002-10-31 10:29:00 | ok, i have gotten all the emoticons working now, and i just realised how simple and easy it would be to implement it into the current 'Post a reply' page', all you would need to do is copy and paste the contents of the smilies table on the page i have made, and paste it someplace on the current one, and then copy and paste the javascript needed into the header, now wouldnt that make life easier for the pressf1'ers ;) grtz sal. tga oh, and for those late on the subject, look here htmlhelp.hostnz.co.nz
