94221 2002-10-29 08:54:00 I have been looking at the battlefield 1942 demo on the latest CD and it states for the graphics card that it should be:

3D accelerated GeForce 32 MB or equivalent with HTL (Hardware Transform & Lightning) and 24-bit z-buffer

I have a nVidia TNT2 M64 with 32MB SDRAM and since I cant seem to get it going I assume that the answer is 'No it is not compatible'

94222 2002-10-29 09:06:00 I think you 've answered yr question :D

Most software makers would state their minimum requirements to a REALLY minium level so that more ppl can buy even tho it might not work that well .. so if it says geforce 2 minimum that's what it really needs... if TNT2 would work but frame lost, jerky, low res...etc. they would put it on...

Take a look at Microsoft .. all their OS minimum requirements .. HAHA :D

94223 2002-11-10 01:37:00 Would the TNT2 run games like Quake 3? fergie (424)
94224 2002-11-10 02:56:00 I am able to play quake quite happily with my TNT2 32mb graphics card Capt Jimbo (17)
94225 2002-11-10 06:14:00 Well seeing as the TNT2 is pre GeForce, I'd say it isn't compatible ;) -=JM=- (16)
