| 94870 | 2002-10-31 20:16:00 | Does anyone know of any games which are quite similar to The Neverhood? I finished playing it, and want to start on something similar. Apparently Armed and Delerious is similar, but I don't know where on earth I would be able to find a copy. |

It isn't point and click like The Neverhood, rather isometric 3d adventure/action game, theres quite a bit of puzzle solving in it and everything. I don't think you can buy it any more unless you try ebay or trade-me, otherwise try www.theunderdogs.org for it, i really enjoyed it. Also try theunderdogs for other games like the neverhood... - David p.s. Did you get really frustrated with some of the puzzles in the neverhood, many many nights spent trying to figure them out ;) |

Finished it in about a week (evenings only), which I thought wasn't too bad. Damn that Hall of Records though! I'll check out GPStore and see if any of your suggestions are available :D Cheers B-) B-) |

| 94875 | 2002-11-01 04:30:00 | Myst III Exile is really good for puzzle solving and has great graphics. Some of those puzzles drove me nuts trying to figure out how to work them .... I especially dreaded the one's where you had to activate a combination of levers then run off to the other side of the island to check the result, only to have to run back again when that combination wasn't the solution!! It took several nights attempting some of them before I figured it out. You can buy the Myst collection (Myst/Riven/Exile) in one box now I see (approx $120). But I did read that Exile was the best, I've never played the earlier games, and you can get this game for about $40 now. Cheers Jen |
