| 94828 | 2002-10-31 09:35:00 | My CD-ROM drive on laptop doesn't seem to read some CD-Rs and CD-RWs they read fine on other laptops. this happens mostly to Audio CDs. Its an Acer Extensa 711TE machine. The CD-ROM drive is a MATSHITA UJDA150 Any suggestions Chao |

| 94830 | 2002-11-01 09:25:00 | like Sik suggested, older drives have difficulty reading cdr discs, also the laser might be slightly damaged or dirty, try runnng a cd drive disc cleaner and, some more cdr discs should work. cheers, v.K |
