| 94764 | 2002-10-31 03:18:00 | Every 5th or 6th time I start the computer I get the following message: Windows A fatal exception OE has occured at 0167:BFF8AB97. The current application will be terminated. Once its restarted it must go thru Safe Mode & restarted again. It has Window 98 SE loaded & is an AuthenticAMD AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2000+ with on board sound & video (NVIDIA GeForce2 Intergrated GPU) & has 224MB RAM. I have searched Microsoft's errror messages with no luck, I have also done a general search of bulletin boards & found 2 other people with the same problem but no solution. Bios settings have been checked & rechecked! Anyone got any suggestion? I'm getting very annoyed! X-( |

Here is one site with the same error message found via Google: www.nocrash.com And here is another site similar to the one you've already seen but may have something more: www.infinisource.com Cheers |
