95306 2002-11-03 04:36:00 JJJJJ, sounds like you have a huge case of sour grapes! The man doth protest too much... could it be that you work for one of the opposition mags? And if so, why are you 'supporting' an IDG site if you hate them so much? If not, what did IDG do to you to cause such a disgustingly venomous attack?

If you don't like IDG, then don't visit their sites or buy their mags. Get over yourself.

You seem to be just another big mouth venting his opinion with no consideration or knowledge of the facts. If you can do better, prove it - or in simple terms, put up or shut up!

95307 2002-11-03 05:40:00 I don't understand how anybody could be pleased that a computer magazine would go bust. How could you possible happy at such an event. If you don't like a mag, don't buy it - pretty simple? If there was only one to choose from you wouldn't be happy would you? It's choice that make magazines strive for better content, it's choice that keeps prices down, it's choice that keeps things intersting. I don't subscribe to any mag, but I buy a range of them every month. I prefer the kiwi ones because of the local content, next choice are the aussie ones. I almost never buy the UK or US mags because of the price. But I wouldnt be 'pleased' if any of them stopped publishing, at best I'd be non-comital.

I would guess that if someone were 'pleased' about such a thing they'd more than likely have a hidden agenda of some kind.
