95349	2002-11-03 11:17:00	I've had another go with 1942, and it is stimulating - especially when you get in a tank :^O - but my system won't shut the game down afterwards. After the exit command is given, when you go to a facts/sales_pitch screen it goes no further. I'm running XP on an Athlon 1.0 with 256ram(sd) and an Nvidia geforce2 MX 32MB. I tried the game in 256 colours, 600*480 resolution, and in both '98/ME and 2000 compatability modes. Still no joy when it comes to turn off the game - maybe I should just keep it running - NOT. I have always had trouble with EA demo games, so I don't own nor will I ever own a full version. Harsh words I know, but when it doesn't work on trial period, why use it period. I would like to hear if anyone has had succuess with this (or any EA) game(s). cheers rads:)	raddersnz (684)
95350	2002-11-03 11:27:00	With the respawning there are white dots on the mini-map which you click on one of then to highlight it then OK it and wait to spawn (can take up to 20 seconds). If you lose a position you lose the ability to spawn there and have to select another white dot on the mini-map so it is highlighted. It is possible to lose all spawn points entirely as part of the game. The game is a massive load for the PC and I have seen it take 1-2 full minutes to load during which time it acts like its locked up. I have also seen people hit the enter key when it appears to lock up and it starts. The big problem though is that you really need a pretty powerful machine to run it well and all load times are long and tedious even if you have one. Probably around 1.2 - 1.6 mhz with 512mb ram and a Geforce2 at least to get the best from this game.	John Grieve (367)
95351	2002-11-03 20:50:00	Hi Tweak'e Got the same feeling - Graphics Suck compared to Other games I have - eg Wolfenstien or Soldier of Fortune. Got it to work once, but the next time it froze - and also had no mouse to select anything. When shot, weird things happen with the graphics. Have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times.	Laurie (485)
95352	2002-11-03 21:30:00	I play it for 10-20 mins and then it freezes. Could it be that this demo is only a beta version? The Readme file states; "This demo is........still under development" Medal of Honour is an EA game and the best FPS I have ever played, including H&D.	Marcus (2414)
95353	2002-11-04 02:52:00	I found that after instillation, a defrag helped (must of) the game play better. Although it does still stand still for a few seconds, it will actually play. >> Medal of Honour is an EA game and the best FPS I have ever played, including H&D. 95354	2002-11-04 09:55:00	Yes it is the Single Player Demo Maybe if you go to www.bf1942files.com and see if they can help you with the freezing you are getting.
