| 95068 | 2002-11-02 09:40:00 | If in Auckland try the Thursday Trade and Exchange. Plenty of suppliers and prices quoted there that are very keen, competitive and up-to-date. You get a much more comprehensive and more up-to-date view of prices than from eg Pricespy. You can also tell pretty quickly who the overchargers are - don't be fooled by suggestions from these that they are more likely to be around in 12 months, since basic economics indicates that overchargers don't stay in any competitive industry for long - suppliers that price fairly do tend to stick around. |

| 95070 | 2002-11-09 20:52:00 | I just picked up over a grand's worth of parts from TasTech on Friday - he is cheap. Yes, he can be hopeless at replying to emails if he hasn't got the stuff in stock but a phone call to order the bits got him going. Took just 2 days from ordering to pick up. Had no trouble having my monitor sent to me a couple of months ago either. So far TasTech has been better to deal with than StylesPC - I still haven't even heard from them about the bits ordered last Wednesday. They're the worst I've encountered so far. Another good one for you: Hotchips. |

| 95071 | 2002-11-10 00:16:00 | www.qmb.co.nz the cheapest computer hardware place in NZ (in my opinion) also, one of the best, I've purchased MANY things off them - all recieved and worked. good communiction ect. Only catch - when you go to their site, you'll think the prices are unreal, thats because they excl GST, but once added - they're still the best on the net in NZ. |
