| 95623 | 2002-11-03 07:52:00 | Its a similar event to a Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) and is probably related to an error in a driver. Or not. Windows... |

| 95625 | 2002-11-06 07:34:00 | well according to that survey that's proving popular on Press F1, you should format your hard drive and reinstall all your software. Or not. (sorry couldn't help myself) |

| 95626 | 2002-11-06 09:33:00 | Leendert, KEBUGCHECKEX {KErnel mode BUG CHECK EXception}: A bug check is a system-detected error that causes an immediate, controlled shutdown of the system. Various kernel-mode components perform run-time consistency checking. If and when such a component discovers an unrecoverable inconsistency, it causes a bug check to be generated. Whenever possible, all kernel-mode components should log an error and continue to run, rather than calling KeBugCheckEx. For example, if a driver is unable to allocate required resources, it should log an error so that the system continues to run; it should not generate a bug check. A driver or other kernel-mode component calls this routine only in cases of a fatal, unrecoverable error that could corrupt the system itself. So one of the system drivers on your computer had a fit and the system was told to shutdown immediately. If you don't know what the driver was (you hadn't made any changes or installed some 'new' software) and all is fine then leave it be for now. Cheers, Babe. |

| 95627 | 2002-11-07 03:34:00 | Thanks again Babe for your comments, much appreciated. I appear to have a "problem" with my scroll mouse software and will delete and re-install that. I've not had the same "warning" again. Kind regards Leo |
