| 95497 | 2002-11-02 09:42:00 | I don't know how I did it but now every web page that I have stored to hdisk has the dicksmith icon (not the prettiest guy in the world)I had dse in my favorites. This is not good . |

| 95498 | 2002-11-02 23:29:00 | Hi Ron I can imagine having Dick Smiths image on all the icons would be an ugly sight. You didn't mention whether you have tried emptying out your Temp Internet files. Have a look in there for favicons and delete them. I don't know if this would help, but it is worth a shot. It is not normal for favicons to take over all your icons - so something else may be happening??? HTH Jen |

| 95499 | 2002-11-03 07:25:00 | Hi Ron. I had a similar problem a couple of years ago with the Dick Smith Logo on my Internet Explorer windows. Later, I had the same with ZFree when I used one of their disks. Each window would say Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by ZFree. In windows 98, I got rid of it by: Whilst not connected to the Internet: Click on Internet Explorer icon on desktop for Dial UP. Click on Settings, (instead of on connect or stay offline). Choose the General tab. Choose Default. Exit your way out by clicking Apply and OK etc. When you next connect to the net it should show the original default settings without the pretty face!
