95999 2002-11-05 00:08:00 Sorry mate, Geocities wont allow you to link directly to an image like that, you have to create a basic HTML page and put the pic in that!

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Pic</TITLE>
</HEAD>

<BODY>

</BODY
</HTML>

Cheers

96000 2002-11-05 00:15:00 Csrss is a primary Windows process and cannot be played with/disabled at all. It is used for a lot of standard things in Windows but it is also used by various virus's as well.

From MS - "This is the user-mode portion of the Win32 subsystem (with Win32.sys being the kernel-mode portion). Csrss stands for client/server run-time subsystem and is an essential subsystem that must be running at all times. Csrss is responsible for console windows, creating and/or deleting threads, and some parts of the 16-bit virtual MS-DOS environment."

As you noticed it after Kazza-lite it would pay to check your PC with a virus scanner updated to the latest definitions just in case. Csrss is used by a lot of the latest and greatest virus's available worldwide via your P2P program.

96002 2002-11-05 00:50:00 I heard about this, a spammer is using the windows messenger service to send spam.

Read about it here:

96005 2002-11-05 02:02:00 Man that's dodgy. I dont like WM anyways, and XP has its shortcomings.

However, the www.directadvertiser.com website/Homepage no longer seems to be registered?!

Any suggestions??

96006 2002-11-05 02:29:00 I had not seen the sceenie at first when I answered. That is one very nasty "feature" of messenger! It should be killed off if at all possible and if it cannot I seriously suggest somebody with some clout have a talk to MS about removing that "feature" completely from the messenger service.

Ahhh the glory that is Microsoft - the "criminals" best friend :D

96007 2002-11-05 02:34:00 Sorry better clarify my statement (don't want to be sued by MS do we :D )

ALL AND ANY SPAM IS CRIMINAL

Is that clear enough to cover what I said?? :D
