| 95775 | 2002-11-04 19:32:00 | Oh Timbo - it's a big learning curve. You'll need to read a lot of online tutorials and make a few maps that don't work first. The program you need is called Valve Hammer, (used to be known as Worldcraft). Get it here: Valve Hammer Editor (valve-erc.com) That site is a good place to start for tutorials: Valve ERC (http://valve-erc.com/) Another good place for tutorials and tips: CounterMap (http://countermap.counter-strike.net/) - CS mapping site. Plus, of course the CS Mapping forum (www.forumplanet.com), but be warned, they aren't too tolerant of newbies who ask basic questions without first trying to find the answer using the forum's search function. Need I say more :-) |
