95670 2002-11-05 05:29:00 OK as I type this I have one sitting on my knee, now which page would you like there is 120 + 8 pages altogether + a cardboard "user's guide",

I could put the index on the web site I suppose?

Dam good printer, printed reams & reams & reams of paper have have one stop of trouble,

Then I got a jet-ink after only printing one ream gave trouble, if fact I told a Email group the troulbe I had and guess what ??? They told who what make it was !!!! was that a good group or what?

95672 2002-11-06 19:28:00 Sorry Eric, and thanks for the kind offer, but I think I've got that manual (the download that Merlin directed me to).
Yes it does seem to be a good printer (if a little basic and noisy!) and it's turning out to be a good second fiddle to my newer HP.
Since I have it, I thought that I may as well use all the ink up before chucking it out!!
I've got an old Star NX1000 too, so I'll be making use of that after.

I does seem to be a bit of a manual operation printer though, I'll just have to put up with winding it forward to rip off, then winding it back to the begining of the page. To stop printing mid way through it seems I have to turn the power off!! well it beats writing it all down I guess
