| 96309 | 2002-11-07 09:40:00 | Oh...Ok, but you dont boot ME to DOS, you boot the computer into DOS using a DOS boot disk. Then when in dos at the A:> prompt type something like, copy c:\folder\file.dll c:\windows\system\file.dll and that will copy file.dll from the folder called 'folder' or whatever, to the system folder, but preferably first rename the existing file.dll to say file.old by the command: A:>ren c:\windows\system\file.dll c:\windows\system\file.old then if you do need to restore the original files they will be there to do so. |
