He thought he was being helpfull to fill in all the login details for me I want to get rid of him from my pc is it possible without a format of the hard drive |

There is a program called X-Teq X Setup (or something along those lines) that allows you to edit who is listed as the owner of the machine. Do a search on Downloads.com for xteq and you should find something (hopefully). HTH Mike. |

| 96195 | 2002-11-05 08:45:00 | Open the Run command in Start > Run Type regedit and press OK Search for RegisteredOwner Change the RegisteredOwner to whoever you want. Alter the RegisteredOrganization at the same time. Be aware that to alter registry settings is done at you own risk. To provide safety, before making changes backup the registry and ensure familarity of restoration procedures. |
