96661	2002-11-07 03:10:00	Hi. Can anyone help me with some research I'm doing for my computer class??? I am trying to find out the amount of AntiVirus programmes there are in the world, compared to how many pc's are being used globally. (This is for a research paper on the internet and AntiVirus Vendors) If anyone can suggest where this information might be found, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys	rowenalb (2470)
96662	2002-11-07 03:15:00	I'm pretty sure there's about 6 billion PC's globally, (I read it in a netguide - had to buy it coz Imag's gone under....). Apparently 1 in 5 PC's is infected by a virus (What hotmail says when you download an attachment). AV programs.... LOTS, thousands I'd say!
