96681 2002-11-07 04:17:00 Hi.
When using IE5.5 I quite often get 'a runtime has occured do you wish to debug' I never have that using Opera. Can I set Opera to open up pages that I look at when I have been sent a link from an Email? Or is it because I have IE set as the default?
Pauline.

96682 2002-11-07 05:14:00 To get rid of the debug error, go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab. Scroll down to Browsing, and make sure there is a tick beside "Disable Script Debugging".

To open emails with Opera from a email link, it will need to be the default browser.

96683 2002-11-07 08:24:00 Thanks Jen,
When I was at polytech last year just starting out on all this computer stuff that runtime thing was forever showing up. I will now go & do as you suggested.
Pauline.
BTW
What does HTH mean above your name in your post to my question?

96685 2002-11-07 09:44:00 It HAS to have a check in the box to "disable" the error. Go and select it
The error is on the website, not your PC by the way.

HTH means Hope That Helps
