| 97100 | 2002-11-09 21:22:00 | I'm assuming you are using Outlook Express.... Firstly, go to Start>Find and locate your Stationery folder. Move the animated .gif file to that folder. In OE go to Tools>Options>Compose>Create new. The Stationery Wizard will start. Follow it and in the Picture selection section put a tick in the little box then browse to your animated .gif file to select it. Set its position to where you want, eg bottom left. Leave the "Do not tile" as it is. Choose the font, size and colour for your stationery text in the next window, and in the Margin settings make them something like 20 and 20 or 10 and 20 or whatever you like. Give it a name such as logosig or whatever and you're done. Back in the Compose dialogue box make this stationery your default so that it comes up with every new message put a tick in the Stationery-Mail box and Select the stationery that you just created. Click OK then try it out in a new message. If it doesn't look how you want it just go back and do another one until you get it right then delete the duds from your Stationery folder. Also, if you want to have your "signature" automatically added to the end of each new message (and it can be your favourite quote or something, not just your name), go to Tools>Options>Signatures and create one in there. |
