2002-11-07 08:08:00 | Dunno what/how it happened, but date is now displayed as 'mmmm' instead of the month eg November. Would welcome suggestions to fix it. Windows XP Home on AMD Duron 946 Mghz with 384 MB RAM. Thanks. | PGilder (2473) | |

2002-11-07 12:31:00 | before you change your date be sure that you don't have something on a trial for a specified number of days. My old computer never kept up with the date and I gave up correcting it but one day my daughter corrected it when it was 3 months behind. Unfortunately I had just got a free trial of Namo Web Editor And all its free days went in one swoop! Prue | prue (1413) | |
2002-11-07 17:42:00 | well prue you are wrong the trials do not run out if you set the computer clock forward. A Trial usualy uses the internal clock. So turning the PC clock backwards will not affect the trial. Thats all | Kazzuya Mishima (2466) | |
2002-11-08 10:42:00 | well it certainly stopped the Namo trial from working and when I contacted Namo they said they couldn't do anything about it- I had only had 10days use of it -but they couldn't give me another trial period. So their one must have been using my computer clock to tell the trial when to end. Prue | prue (1413) | |
2002-11-08 10:54:00 | Sorry Kazzuya Mishima but Prue is absolutely right about this one! Re-setting your date forward does "use up" your allowed trial period. Setting your clock back to right date won't fix it. Happened to me with a Nero Burning Deom.

2002-11-09 00:48:00 | Windows XP - Control Panel > Date & Time does not give options for any particular format. Its more like a calendar - with November clearly visible. Have okayed this format - with no change in result. Any other suggestion? | PGilder (2473) | |
