I have Nortons Personal firewall and I have tried with both

97399 2002-11-09 07:23:00 In Outlook Express 6 - Go to Tools - Options - Security Tab and untick - Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus.
Hope that helps, but remember to tick it again if you want protection again.

97400 2002-11-09 08:21:00 Thankyou. I tried after unticking and all ok. I was never quite sure about that setting...I can see now that it does give me the option of dealing with an unrecognized message if I have to , but I didn't realize that it completely blocked ALL attachments if activated. I'm very grateful.
