97374 2002-11-09 04:32:00 Thanks to Tweak'e & Babe Ruth ok lack of info but 1st time , running ME upgrade from 98 std & xlorer 6.Latest from from tech guy by phone problem possibly ME he dumped his because of same problems. cs-bren (2472)

More likely you had something conflicting. Like Power management.
The only way to know whats causing the problem with a dll like that is to take notice of what caused the problem.
Usually the errors goes. such and such has caused an error in Rundll32.

you want to know what such and such is, cause thats the trouble maker

97376 2002-11-09 08:17:00 when did it first happen ?? what program did you install just before that happened?

ME sometimes throws a hissy fit if you do an upgrade from 98. it seems to like doing a clean install.

you really need to find what program that is doing it. ie what prgram did you start to use when the fault happens ??
