| 97247 | 2002-11-08 10:19:00 | Hi, My volume icon has disappeared from the task bar. I checked the sound and audio devices and the box is ticked to place it on the task bar. I also have no volume yet when I check the volume controls it's not muted or turned down. Can someone please help me out. Cheers Caro |

| 97252 | 2002-11-09 05:48:00 | I'm using sygate...I had to reinstall it because it had a file missing. That's when I noticed the icon missing. After checking everything else I checked windows media player and once I checked the box allowing it permission I got my volume back, but the icon didn't re-appear until I had re-booted. When I checked the applications in sygate there were a lot of windows/system 32 entries with ? marks....so I ticked them all. After that everthing seemed to be working normally. I presume it was the firewall. |
