97298 2002-11-09 00:47:00 When I access some web pages, I get an initial text display on a white background that says something like:

!HTTP/1.0 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Date: Sat, 09 Nov 2002 00:34:11 GMT Content-type: text/html Page-Completion-Status: Normal Page-Completion-Status: Normal

This is then fully or partially overlaid by the page content of the site I am visiting. It has only started recently, and does not seem to be happening on the other PC in the house, and I can't see any differences in the settings between the two machines.

Any ideas?

TIA

Tony

97299 2002-11-09 01:05:00 umm.. inside IE, goto tools -> internet options -> advanced and choose restore defaults and see if it helps :D

probably won't but worth a try

97300 2002-11-09 01:30:00 I'll do that as a last resort, but I would prefer to know the specific reason if I can - I checked the options against the other machine and as far as I could see they were the same. tbacon_nz (865)
