| 97448 | 2002-11-09 11:13:00 | I recently purchased an aussie mag APC October issue. I was looking over the CDs and when my Oprea browser opened it, every 30 to 40 seconds a bloody annoying popup screen appears with the following: "Do you want to install and run "the Macromedia Flash Player 6, a quick and free download, The leading rich client for Internet content and applications across the broadest range of platforms" signed on 1/08/2002 4:43 a.m. and distributed by: macromedia,Inc...blah blah blah". I can't seem to shake the damn thing, Anyone please explain or do I just have to put up with it. The ruddy thing is like a bloody nightmare. Never come across this before. cheers merlin-nz ;-) |

| 97451 | 2002-11-09 16:37:00 | Jim B is right, you may actually need it to view parts of the CD properly. The flash plugins and are needed forfull viewing of a number of web pages, they don.t hog resources or take up much space, and are easy to remove from your system if you want to.. | Bill P (1660) | ||
