1321069 2013-01-02 02:34:00 I am seeking help on a couple of things...

Firstly - fan controllers: I want something which will handle up to 6 fans - 2 of which will be CPU and GPU. The rest will be case fans. I may yet want to add more fans later - the case has provision for 8 fans. I have never used anything but a single fan controller before which came with an aftermarket GPU cooler so this is kinda new territory.
Had a quick look and kinda liking this style of controller: www.ascent.co.nz
Do other brands of controllers come with cables as well?

A while ago I was given a heap of LED fans which I intend to use with the above case and the controller which I intend to buy. I have never had an LED fan before so am not sure what of voltages, cables to connect them etc. I am assuming I can connect all LED fan connections (8 for the case potentially and 2 for the GPU/CPU) in series to one molex connector?? Is there a cable to do this or do I need to get something made? I am hoping there is some kind of kitset one can buy for this?
The fans have a 3-pin fem connector for the fan power, and 2-pin male connectors for the LED's and are mentioned in this thread: pressf1.pcworld.co.nz

There were cables for the power suggested in this thread, but nothing for the LED's

1321070 2013-01-02 10:37:00 Fans are usually 12volt. The LEDs will be taken care of by each individual fan. You meant to say parallel connections, eh! Fantastic- PENTIUM (426)
1321071 2013-01-02 18:40:00 I'm not a big fan of fan controllers (excuse the pun) because of all the extra wiring to deal with, but when I have used them I quite like this one www.nzxt.com because it blends in so well with mesh front cases and is not in your face with bells and whistles. It comes with everything you need for normal fan connections.

Bear in mind if you don't connect a fan to the CPU header you will have to disable the BIOS warnings/ monitoring of that and in some cases one of the chassis fans as well.

@ dugimodo - I think the Mesh may be the one to go for. The front of this case looks stylie enough .. don't really want to overdo it

Might go to Jaycar and see what they recommend regards wiring and connections for the LED
