2012-08-23 04:07:00 | I've been trying it today and although it goes through the motions, it doesn't throw up a numerical result. Last time I tried it (several weeks ago) it woudn't run a fight at all, so I guess today is an improvement of sorts. Cheers Billy 8-{) :annoyed:

2012-08-23 05:29:00 | Googlefight.com? Works for me... OK, thanks for that! So now it looks like it is my problem. Next question would be 'what application (or whatever) is needed to run the animation?' So far as I am aware, everything that should move on screen does move but maybe I have an applet missing or whatever? Cheers Billy 8-{)

2012-08-23 06:48:00 | It appears to use JavaScript and Flash. If JavaScript was disabled in the browser and Flash was disabled or not installed, then I expect it wouldn't work.

2012-08-23 10:51:00 | It appears to use JavaScript and Flash. OK, I have Java installed (that's an Adobe application isn't it?) but I don't know about Flash. Where do I look for it, and is it an applet that forms part of another program, or is it stand-alone? Cheers Billy 8-{)

2012-08-23 11:30:00 | Flash is made by Adobe. You can check if you have it installed with this: www.adobe.com Java and JavaScript are not the same. JavaScript is usually supported natively by the browser, but must be enabled to work (normally enabled by default) Java is made by Sun (recently acquired by Oracle)
