1295291 2012-08-20 00:42:00 Go for a 27" I really recommend them. A nice lot of real estate.

Agreed, that $400 is the sweet spot for monitors, the bigger the better

1295295 2012-08-20 09:54:00 @nedkelly.
How do you get one keyboard and mouse working on multiple computers?
KVM switch is one way (as mentioned by other members).

I have got two laptops (connected by crossover LAN) which I control using only a set of keyboard and mouse. This is achieved through a KVM software Input Director (http://www.inputdirector.com).

Cheers :)

1295299 2012-08-20 10:16:00 I can't wait to get my dual screen desktop set up in this house but the desk doesn't arrive until next Tuesday, by which time I will be really fed up of using my HP mini netbook for a while. 2 weeks on the small screen hasn't helped my ageing eyesight gary67 (56)
