| 1295451 | 2012-08-20 08:53:00 | Usually on Airliners they would not intentionally do anything that would induce panic to their passengers,most would know that when you hit some turbulence some passengers will react in a certain manner In answer to foxy, most aircraft can turn with quite extreme angles of bank as long as you have the speed and altitude to carry out that maneuver and where things get complicated is when you are low and slow With this when turning with the ground in close proximity the pilot get the sensation of flying to fast when in fact he is flying close to the stall speed of that particular Aircraft and a high banked turn would stall the inside wing helped by the higher speed induced drag of the other higher wing So there is alot of things that contribute to a Aircraft dropping out of the sky but low an slow in close proximity to the ground can spoil your day Even at higher altitude your stall speed increases so you have to maintain a higher speed en.wikipedia.org(flight) All modern Airliners today have plenty of warning systems built in to help the pilot but on recreational aircraft it is left to the pilot to ensure he does not get caught out |

Thrills for the pilot are not viewed quite the same way behind the cockpit door. ;) Any instant adjustment could result in the people rolling to the left while the plane rolls briskly right to get correctly leveled. Quite soon this will result in wigs and false teeth in the aisle, and arms in plaster, plus an enormous queue for the facilities. |
