Screen it late in the evening would be the simplest answer but otherwise, some judicious editing wouldn't affect the story. I got the DVD out last week to watch with my 17yr son and was highly impressed with the acting and rich background detail. However I was also taken aback by the explicit nudity and sexual behaviour, simply because it was unexpected. My son is reading the books so he already knew what would happen so I shrugged... However my 14yr daughter walked into the room and was shocked. I really don't want her growing up any faster than she is (the innocence of childhood is fleeting these days) and would prefer her not to view explicit stuff. I would not expect to see it on TV before 9:30pm. |

| 1296076 | 2012-08-22 23:34:00 | +1 Dugi, so how good is Camelot?? Had good potential, but imo shoots itself in the foot with some weak casting and overall production values. The storyline gets itself a bit confused in places, too, but not too badly. If it had not timed it's release to coincide with several higher-profile medieval-fantasy-themed shows and movies it may well have been more popular. It's by no means bad, but it's definitely outshone by GoT. |
