| 1320583 | 2012-12-29 04:41:00 | I went to use my tablet today for the first time since Xmas and couldn't get on the net at all. After a bit of expermienting I manually picked another channel on my router and everything is working again. I was curious so I installed wi-fi analyser on the tablet (great app) and bloody hell I get 9 different networks showing up in my lounge! 2 of them on the same frequency my router had chosen automatically. 1 of the routers in range has the same name (linksys) as a work network and is on the same channel my home network was using - I think the tablet was alternately trying to connect to both and getting nowhere. In the other side of the house I only see 3 networks. So how do I deal with too much wi-fi in my neighbourhood? is there anyway to block the tablet from attempting to connect to others ? |

Wireless seems to have trouble getting through more than a couple of internal walls in my house. Strange thing is that all the neighbours' wifi signals come in with at god strength! | coldot (6847) | ||
