AND one thing that the MAC fans will hate - How Microsoft ( Bill Gates) actually rescued Apple from going broke / bankrupt 90 days before closing. All that aside its quite interesting. |

Re the biography - did start but didn't finish, may do one day. @ Gary: The title of this thread is what the program is called on TV. The program's quite interesting though. |

| 1295685 | 2012-08-21 01:37:00 | I'm a windows guy.... But I do admire Apples (never used one) and Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. But there were other guys that thought of this stuff. Xerox's parc - Space Oddesy - Maxwell Smart etc etc And what about the two university maths guys that invented the computer spreadsheet - Visicalc, They made no money and are still university maths guys...... And yes Apple was nearly broke when Bill Gates got them to do Office for the Mac. But it has reversed now, due to the fact that Apple are great marketers able to sell crappy Itunes files and cool looking phones and mp3 players and tablets. |
