| 98061 | 2002-11-12 07:02:00 | When using Windows Explorer, how do you set the default that Windows Explorer will show the files in "Details" view rather than an "Icon" view ? | Nobby (2515) | ||

| 98063 | 2002-11-12 07:13:00 | What version of Windows, Nobby? In Windows XP you need to go Tools > Folder Options, click on View, and click the "Apply to all folders" button - this should save the settings to display in details view everytime you open Explorer. I'm just checking for Win 98 and ME... Mike. |

| 98064 | 2002-11-12 07:17:00 | Okay, in 98SE you go View > Folder Options > View, and "Like Current Folder" and in ME Tools > Folder Options > View, and "Like Current Folder". This should save the view for next time you start Explorer. HTH Mike. |
