The children from Cooma Public School had minor symptoms such as vomiting and nausea after an apparent computer meltdown, a NSW Ambulance spokesman said . They were taken to hospital but later released . A spokeswoman at the school said: "It appears that there was some sort of meltdown in the computer monitor . "It was only a couple of minutes, they could just smell something and took action immediately . Plastics parts, such as transfomer winding formers give all sorts of gases when they burn (apart from the essential smoke). :D I'd say it was a panic reaction. The only necessary action is to turn the power off. Most electronics "self-extinguish" as soon as the power stops. |
