97863 2002-11-11 23:00:00 As mentioned in a earlier thread...IHUG being slack..
they still ahvent repied to any of my emails, some from 2 weeks ago, some from last week, some from yesterday..
Have written to their complaints desk, wont get a reply i am sure..

has anyone else had this slackness with any other ISPs? or with IHUG?

97864 2002-11-11 23:24:00 A common problem. look at previous discussions about ISP's to find out which ones are more reputable than others.
Most people aren't too keen to say if their ISP is good, otherwise everyone rush's to them and then they get inefficient because they get big.

97865 2002-11-11 23:31:00 I'm not with IHUG for Internet service, i signed up with them so i can be able to contact friends using the www.t2v.co.nz (text to voice service) csinclair83 (200)
97866 2002-11-11 23:54:00 We use ihug here at work and I sent them an email (complaints) and didn't get a reply for over a week!
Pretty slack really considering the comlaint was about slow emails!

97867 2002-11-12 00:16:00 My last memory of ihug ...

Sending an email telling them I wan't to quit using them as an ISP.

3 Weeks later in an email ... some kind of automatic response telling me when my service ends.

Never again.

Stop complaining and just move on :-)

97868 2002-11-12 00:27:00 I gotta complain and not move on for now
coz I got a $20 bill due 20th..
and no mode of payment
and apparently no mode of communication with IHUG..

97869 2002-11-13 09:46:00 As mentioned..a email i sent 2 weeks ago got a reply just before...

it says..
Thank you for your email, I have noted on your account that you would like to se up this payment method and this is fine to do aslong as you dont fall too far behind on payments as you may incurr a late fee

BUT...my whole email was asking..what modes of payments are there instead of creditcard/cheque/automatic payments as they all have charges/interests and all..

so i guess they have 2 weeks to reply to each email they receive..
