| 97797 | 2002-11-11 08:07:00 | Can anyone advise the easiet way to netwoking my desktop and my laptop to share printers, internet etc. Both are running on XP home and my laptop has a network card installed already. Is wireless an option. Thanks very much. | ephesus (2509) | ||

You will need a wireless PCMCIA card for the laptop, and either a PCI-PCMCIA adapter and another wireless card or a wireless access point and LAN card for the main PC...perhaps $500 may be more realistic? Otherwise you need a $25 PCI network card for your main PC, a crossover cable (about $30) and you are away. With XP networking is easy, very very easy. |
