When our son begged us for Pharoah we agreed because it sounded "educational", and it was/is. He has spent hours playing this game, totally absorbed in learning about the Ancient Egyptians' culture, customs, etc to the extent that when the subject came up in class he knew far more than the teacher. He didn't just learn from playing the game either, he went to the library and brought home stacks of books on them as well. I considered that game to be one that has been well worth the money. |
