97905 2002-11-12 01:14:00 Not wishing to get into a debate about the rights or worngs of Lego, I believe in free speech. I don't accept that anyone has the right to curb other peoples communication. If you don't like what you see or hear you have the right to say so - you don't have the right to forcefully stop them. After all we line in a democracy here in New Zealand.

This form of denial of service attack is like a yobbo who doesn't want to listen to anyone else and punches them in the mouth. Makes me think of that South African rugby 'supporter' who tackled the referee.

97907 2002-11-12 02:02:00 I didn't realise that the Maori language had been copyrighted.

97908 2002-11-12 02:30:00 One hacker does not neccessarily represent an organised act of vandalism on behalf of a larger group. If I hacked a Maori web site tomorrow and left messages demanding an end to the Maori language would that enabe anyone to draw any conclusions about anything or anybody other than myself (and the fact that I was a jerk).

The only conclusion that can be drawn from this is that there is a hacker jerk out there with an axe to grind - nothing more. And like that is shocking news .....

In this country a cat being found in a mail sorting room makes the front page of the paper . . .
