| 98338 | 2002-11-13 07:56:00 | If I've got NAV installed and a couple of months later I install say Norton Utilities does this extend my liveupdate for NAV, shorten the liveupdate period for NU, or do they both have their own 1 year of free updates individually? :D Mike. |

| 98339 | 2002-11-13 08:29:00 | I don't think it will make a difference. Well I'm not sure. I always thought that Live Update was it's own thing and would increase the length of updates. Recently I installed NU and uninstalled it. Looking at how long NAV has left it's the same as it was before the installation/uninstallation of NU. |

| 98340 | 2002-11-13 08:41:00 | Hi Mike.I had NSW with antivirus installed, then a few months later got Internet Security,which comes with NAV too.It asked if I wanted it all intergrated,to which I said yes.The sub date then started from scratch. :-) |

This being the case, each time you load Nortons back on it starts the subscription service anew ( at least it has for me ).:) So you could just try reformatting just before the subscription lapses to make sure of this.:) rads:) p.s.
