98475 2002-11-14 03:55:00 I recently installed Microsoft Office 2000. When using Word on seeking to create new document from a template, on pressing "New" in the file menu I get not only my own templates, which i want to use, but also a mess of Microsoft Templates. I have re-set the Options menu to refer only to my own templates and deleted all the Microsoft templates but still the Microsoft templates are shown even although the files for them have been deleted. How can I just have my own templates and not the Microsoft ones? davman (2522)
98476 2002-11-14 04:41:00 Create your own directory where YOU want to keep YOUR templates.

Then go Tools-Options-File Locations-User Templates-Modify, and browse to your new directory, then OK.
