| 98767 | 2002-11-15 06:25:00 | I recenrly purchased a new cdrw 20x10x40 drive but it came with no instructions or software. I have plugged it in and it seems to work fine as a cdrom drive but I cannot write cds. Easy cd creator wont recognise that I have a CD writer installed. You say its a 20 x 10 x 40, this would indicate its not that new, they are 48 x 12 x 40 or so now. | 98769 | 2002-11-15 07:24:00 | I have a pentium III 550 128meg ram and a riva tnt2 video card 32meg 5gig hard drive external 56k modem running on windows me. The drive in new as in not used b 4 and is not the lasest specs as it was part of a particular model sellout, These units had been on suppliers shelves for 12 months there 4 they r out of manufactures warranty hence it was cheap with no software. It has no brandind on it what so ever although it does have a model no. 2020sl if this maens anything |
