98729	2002-11-15 04:03:00	A long time ago I used to use Actrix as my ISP. Since then and still, I note that the words "Actric Networks" is included at the top of the Internet Explorer page. I have checked the FAQ's and nothing seems to relate to it there, incidently, the last FAQ has no number!! How do I get rid of the Actrix advert?	Tobas (224)
98730	2002-11-15 05:18:00	You will need to go into your registry to delete the "Actrix Networks" text. If you haven't edited the registry before, read the Registry FAQ first so that you know the risks. In regedit do a search for the text displayed in your IE title bar and change it to what you would like. If you don't want anything just remove the text.	Susan B (19)
98731	2002-11-15 05:31:00	Tobas, Edit the Registry to remove these brandings: INTERNET EXPLORER To modify the title bar of IE5 run the registry editor and navigate to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main OR HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main either delete Window Title in the right pane, or edit the text string to read as you would prefer, exit the registry and restart Internet Explorer OUTLOOK EXPRESS To modify the title of Outlook Express run the registry editor and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express OR HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express either delete Window Title in the right pane, or edit the text string to read as you would prefer, exit the registry and restart Outlook Express The usual precautions on modifying your registry apply. 98732	2002-11-15 07:02:00	Wow - Susan B and Babe Ruth again. Are we the only people active at present - perhaps the rest are dining or watching some very interesting programe on TV. No, never ventured into the registry before, will read the FAQ and then tiptoe in with a torch and look around. Hope there is nothing scary in there!! Thanks, you two (and others),you are a godsend to us less knowledgable people who just want to fix things.	Tobas (224)
