| 98698 | 2002-11-15 02:37:00 | Just wondering if anyone else out there has any useful websites which they use often to help them along with all things computer related? I use whatis.com (whatis.techtarget.com) at least once a day.. and the cheat sheets references etc are very handy (e.g. Every File Format In The World (whatis.techtarget.com)) I use either Symantec.com (securityresponse.symantec.com) or McAfee.com (www.mcafee.com) for virus information and cures. SharkTank (www.computerworld.com) on the ComputerWorld US site has the most up to date tech tales and user blunders, and I often rely on them to get me through the last half an hour at work. Honourable mentions go to PriceSpy (www.pricespy.co.nz), ExtremeTech (http:), Product Finder (www.productfinder.co.nz) and last but certainly not least Snopes (http:) to debunk all those virus hoaxes and chain letters. Does anyone else have any websites which they want to recommend for reference purposes? P.S Sorry if this has been done already.. :D |
