| 98556 | 2002-11-14 09:06:00 | Just had to uninstall Nero :- Lately it's been seizing up on me.I would go in either to Burning Nero or N Express and start selecting files to burn.I thought it was doing this strange thing because I'd move the add screen around,trying to check that what I'd selected was going on the main screen.While moving the front box,it would leave a trail of boxes behind,and then the whole screen would turn to mush,leaving me unable to see anything,so a reset was the only way out.So today I didn't move any windows,but it slowly began melting away!Reinstalled it twice off the CD,but still happens.Regclean,defrag,etc.No good.Have got Roxio on too,but it's been a good month I've been trying Nero with no InCD.Help? ?:| |

| 98558 | 2002-11-14 10:31:00 | Nero will not work if you have Roxio on the machine. XP has a built in "Mini Roxio" which is a pain in the butt. Go to Control panel, System Admin, Services. You will see in the list of services an entry concerning CD burning. Disable it. You will be told that you will not be able to burn CD's, ignore this. Nero works just fine. |
