| 98603 | 2002-11-14 13:23:00 | I want to download and try Oracle9i Personal Edition from Oracle website. What are the limitations of using this version? Is it only a trial version or is it full version with some limitations since its available for free on the site. Can anyone give some info on this? Thank you. |

There are also certain conditions (otn.oracle.com) you must meet:D If you write a program using oracle9i, then OTN own it. If you pay for oracle, then I believe you would own the programs you write. rads:) |

Doesnt say whether the program will stop working or anything like that Can i still use it after 30 days without obtaining the licence or will the whole application stop working? cheers :) |

| 98607 | 2002-11-15 08:42:00 | Pluto I didn't know it could be downloaded - I put my name onto an Oracle email list or something and they sent me Oracle9i from the States - all 4 or 5 CDs of it. I wouldn't have wanted to download it, that's for sure - it's a good 4gb when fully installed :D Mike. PS I'm not sure if this is the same thing as you're wanting, but I guess it is. |

Well the somewhere that I got them from is Oracle.com - I signed up for something (can't remember what) and they sent it to me. It wasn't anything to do with how well their boat is doing, as I got mine in about February I think. Mike. |
